System Integrator Award In collaboration with the Grants.gov Program Management Office, the Department of the Interior/GovWorks awarded a hybrid time-and-materials/fixed-price performance-based task order on September 7, 2006 for "Grants.gov System Integration Services" to Anteon Corporation. The task order was awarded utilizing a NITAAC CIO-SP2i ID/IQ contract. The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year optional periods with a five-year potential not-to-exceed amount of $18,879,818.52. The Base Period has a potential not-to-exceed amount of $4,544,611.70. Transition of the Grants.gov system from the current contractor to Anteon is scheduled to be completed by October 31, 2006. Overall, Anteon clearly demonstrated that their approach will allow Grants.gov to meet its stated long-term goals and that it is the best value to the government. Grants.gov is excited about the direction of this award and will continue to keep you informed as efforts develop.
